How I can help
Besides these applications there are quite a few things I can do where I can help you. This page is an overview — but I'm mainly good at thinking along and solving from there. So if you've got a problem somewhere or you're stuck on something, I'd be glad to think it through with you and see what kind of solution we can find.
Digital
I'm a programmer. I can build websites, set up and manage email, buy and configure domain names. And I can come up with custom solutions for business processes — if there's something with a lot of repetition in it, I can build something to streamline or automate it.
On the kunuku
Besides the IT stuff, I spend a lot of time on my kunuku at Playa Grandi. Over the years I've gathered some equipment. I don't go much further than Rincon, so within that range I can be of use.
I have a mini-excavator and a tractor. The tractor can plough, mow grass, till the soil (cultivator), make paths through mondi. The mini-excavator can dig — for fence post holes, or to drive fence stakes into the ground — and clean up small areas.
I also have a lot of experience with everything that can go wrong on a kunuku. If you've got a kunuku and you want to get something done, I can give advice and maybe help with implementing it.
Odd jobs and advice
I'm not a licensed electrician or plumber, but I can give advice. I put together everything here myself, it still works. I can also install network systems: pulling cabling, installing WiFi, etc.
3D printing and electronics
I have a 3D printer I've never used. So if you want to 3D print something, let me know — maybe we can do it together.
I can also work with integrated circuits and microcontrollers. It's been a while since I did anything with them, but if you've got something — for instance a system that waters automatically based on whether it's raining, or something you'd like to make controllable over the internet — I can think it through with you and make it happen.
